Instead of the usual “one-size-fits-all” approach, Broad Reach Benefits’ Private Exchange allows each employee to personalize and right-size their own benefits portfolio.
Group Vision Insurance Benefits for Employees
Two out of three Americans use corrective lenses yet less than 30% of all companies offer a vision benefit. This highly desired benefit can be employer paid, contributory or offered on a voluntary basis. For voluntary plans, no employer contribution is required and there is no minimum participation.
Discount Vision Programs
Vision Discount Programs allow your employees and their families to save 20% to 60% on name-brand prescription eyeglasses, contact lenses, nonprescription sunglasses and other items at participating optical providers. There are over 9,000 providers nationally including the major optical chains such as LensCrafters and Pearle Vision. These are not insurance programs, so there are no claim forms to complete, waiting periods to satisfy, or limits on the number of times you can utilize the program’s savings.
Quality Vision Programs
A quality vision program shouldn’t limit your eyewear selections. As long as you are in a participating retail location or a participating private practitioner, your discount applies to any eyewear in the store, not just a few choices on the “bottom shelf”.
Insured Vision Programs
These programs provide the network and discounts above but add an isured benefit for eye exams, frames and lenses. Below are examples of how the plan designs can be changed with regard to the interval for services:
Option A | Option B | Option C | Option A |
Eye Examinations | 12 months | 12 months | Eye Examinations |
Lenses | 24 months | 12 months | Lenses |
Frames | 24 months | 24 months | Frames |
Once enrolled employees receive a welcome package mailed direct to their home. This package contains identification cards and all materials for them to begin using their plan immediately.
